Alex phoned me about 9.30am today (Sunday 17th Nov 2019) to ask if I wanted to go out for a run to Fettlers Wharf, which I agreed to. I left home on the Triumph Legend, but as I got down the road it started to rain so I returned home for my over trousers.
It was a bit wet, but with the right gear on it was still enjoyable. Our Gordon, Alex and Joe met me at Fettlers Wharf for a nice warm drink and toasted tea cake. We stayed there for an hour or so having a nice chat, reminiscing on how things were 50 years ago when we first met. And here we are all on Triumph engine bikes. A Tiger 100C 500cc, Tribsa 6T 650cc, Rob North lookalike 750cc Trophy and a Hinckley Triumph Legend TT 900cc.
